[SPOILER WARNING]
It’s been weeks since I watched 2.02 and I still can’t bring myself to talk about it.
(And, as I’ve repeatedly said–spoilers under cut)

I confess: Every thing [1] I’ve written about love going awry against the backdrop of soft sand, clear seas and chaotic shores, I set in Boracay. [2] [3]
And this is a Boracay I remember from 2005. (Remember that? I lost a phone and a girl?) 2005 — which is seven years ago. It was May, right after graduation, and right before employment. We drove from Manila, to Batangas, to Mindoro and to Panay Island — it was INSANE.
Why we hadn’t just booked a flight, I can’t remember — I guess Dad just wanted to try the Roro thing, which at the time was really the Arroyo administration’s flagship program or something. Having said that, Boracay was just a side-trip: We stayed only for a night with relatives. But then: WHAT A NIGHT. (See also: I LOST MY PHONE. Conclude as you may, that night has been buried in the sand. HAHA.)
Anyway.
So, this year I managed to: 1) Hang onto my phone! and 2) Not get too sunburnt. I guess the judicious over-application of sunblock did us some good.
Here, have a quick photo of me and my siblings on these sacred shores before the cut:

I actually wasn’t kidding at all when I said I was literally spinning with things these days, and before I even knew it, it’s been SEVEN EIGHT days since I was last on here. CRAZY. Since May 1st we’ve had: RAIN (ridiculous weather is ridiculous), the Supermoon, and the Read-Along’s 5th birthday!

There's a story behind the actual production of this tarp that I will keep to myself (or maybe tell you when I see you, or maybe not). Nonetheless, it makes me smile. How amazing is it that things just get to where they are. Anyway, this was so pretty I wanted to hug everyone when I first saw it.
Oh man, five years! This project is literally my toddler. Last Saturday, we celebrated the birthday with a session with Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Ate Dyali and Sophia School. It was crazy fun, as one might expect — over 100 kids! More than 200 sessions and counting, and we’re still having more — before this month ends! (Hence, spinning.)

Today was pretty ordinary, as far as Sundays go, except for that part where I actually don’t show up at the office — hehe – though it’s all good sibs, hope you’re all feeling better despite the weird weather! =)
So yeah — all’s cool. I even managed to get my long overdue haircut earlier in the day.
Anyway — these days, I feel like I am spinning with things, it’s insane. (LOL so: Marami man ang nasa to-do list ko, bagong gupit naman ako? FIGHT!)
Anyway again — This afternoon, Andrea was at the office with me drawing *drumroll* wedding dresses for her fashion design class. I swear to God the girl gets more amazing week after week. (I wish I can showcase the knowledge I acquired from studying Financial Accounting for 14 weeks in a similar manner — but alas. Haha. Itago na lang natin.)
In other news: I’m trying to write longhand but I can’t seem to get over the fact that the paper is empty.

I prefer to look at the last two eps for this season as a two-part finale. Here we go with part 1.
(Spoilers under cut)

We’re heading into war and things are going by pretty fast — a couple of shocking deaths in this ep, if you worry about plot, but mostly my concern:
This is Lauren, immediately after Nadia.
(Cut for spoilers, obviously)

Last night’s dream: The moment this little girl met God — it was night, her father had left the headlights on to go inside a chapel to pray. He left her in the car, sleeping. When she woke up, she got down from the car, and was thereby seized by an evil man, knife to her throat, etc. And then she started to pray for God to save her — and there God was, sitting in the back of their car, a fierce-looking woman of the Meryll Streep variety in a white suit.
She charmed the pants off the evil man and set the little girl free.
From then on, God was with her everywhere — shaking her head when the little girl was doing something bad. She played nice music whenever people were fighting and everything was okay.
.. Not quite sure where this came from, but thanks anyway for the reminder, Universe. I’ll figure it out eventually.
(Something else in that dream that I cannot connect: Walking around in a dark house with a flashlight in the middle of what feels to be a party, and walking in on people doing ~things inside tents. Tents inside a house. And my primary thought being, This isn’t their house, which is why they don’t know how the floorboards creak when someone’s coming, and they can’t stop soon enough. HAHA. Okay ano naman ‘to.)

Anyway, I’d like to point out over here an interesting conversation my brother and I had over Twitter yesterday:
Him: I have a fashion sense, unlike other guys who only wear things that their parents buy them. And it doesn’t mean you’re gay.
Me: I agree. I don’t have a fashion sense, and yet I’m gay.
Nga naman.

In other news: HAHA that Zumba playlist is steadily becoming more complete. Thanks guys for the ~finds~!
